We celebrated David Coote’s 15 Years as a Migration Agent and 10 year working in Burwood..
It was also a celebration of new beginnings – Having moved to Level 1, 95 Burwood Road and many new members in the office:
People were able to meet and see each other, some for the first time. Some were able to get to know others in depth. The staff were able to meet investors and to speak to them and encourage them.
We were able refresh acquaintance with old clients, collegues, suppliers and friends of David Coote and his beautiful looking teena. We were able to meet old friends and establish new friends.
The food and drinks were great and the entertainment was good. We express thank to George for bringing all the sound gear and playing to mixed bunch. The blokes were a mixed bunch but the girls looked really great.
The following gave some meaningful speach:- Ken Robinson gave an inspiring speech about the life and times of David Coote and some details of how David helped in many difficult cases so that these clients could become Australian residents.
David Coote then supported Ken Robinson’s remarks, by saying that he attributed his results of 95% success in visa applications to his attention to detail, his knowledge of migration law and his experience in the industry.
Madhu Karthik, Managing Partner with David Coote, encouraged the International Students present, not to leave their migration issues until after their current visa expires.
We look forward to the next 15 years, with a celebration annually.
See you at the next celebration.
Fortunate for our Syrian student client that we have an eye for detail! The confirmation of enrolment for his course had to be reissued when we spotted that the name of his English course was wrong and it was addressed to the wrong visa office: but now he has his visa to collect in Amman. His case officer was helpful, patient and prompt.
Mary was in yesterday to thank us for the successful spouse visa granted which brought her back from Fiji last week. Her Australian husband had not coped well with the separation. It could easily have been longer it only took 28 weeks. There was a last minute issue but the case officer in Suva had successfully sorted out.

Migrating to Australia requires long-term planning. While 2009 might not be the best time to move to Australia or anywhere else, remember that an application lodged right now (June 2009) for Skilled Migration to Australia is unlikely to get a visa until at least June 2011. When the economic circumstances should be quite different, i.e., better!
And just because you get a visa does not mean you have to move then either. If you visit Australia to activate the visa, then you can go back to where you currently live and work for two years before it puts your visa at risk. So you might not need to move here finally until 2013!
But get in the queue now, before the rules change AGAIN!
